This shelf contains my poetry. There is a little something for everyone: horror, romance, science fiction, contemplative, social critique, freestyle, and rhyme.
Reality Inspired Poetry
The actual medusa mask I made
Ode to the Medusa Mask: A Horatian Ode. A real life experience with creating a clay mask and dealing with parental alcoholism
Ode on the Green Windows: An ode that I wrote while I reflected upon my thoughts on a train ride from Chicago to the suburbs.
Justifications: Enjambment/Suspense Poem. It's a poem about a character who justifies the hardships in his life.
The Radio Station: a published poem about The Edge, the radio station at Bradley University. I reflected upon the place and DJs there.
Chad: a published poem where I reflected upon a certain demographic of young men in college.

Science Fiction Poetry
Based on "Machinatarians"
_Machinatarians: A weird science fiction-like sonnet where I reflected about nature and technology and warn the future about the inevitable.
Tout Le Monde-ster: My First Villanelle. It's about a monster eating the planet
If All Our Young Tots: A poem in which I took the song "If all the Raindrops" and rewrote a dark social poem to the same meter.
A Brief Lecture on the History of the Telemen: A science fiction poem taking place in the future where an alien professor gives a lecture of their understanding of the human race (aka the telemen). I created my own loose form for this poem.
